Food Intolerance / Garbage Eating
Eating of rotten food, garbage, or contaminated water can lead
to sudden onset vomiting.
The underlying causes are either chemical toxins or toxins released
by bacteria in the decaying material.
In many cases the condition is self-limiting
after a short period of repeated vomiting ,however in more serious
cases diarrhoea, abdominal pain, weakness, dilated pupils, and
shock can develop, even leading to death in untreated. Specific bacterial food poisonings which can more serious disease
include Botulism and Salmonellosis.
