Histiocytoma
Histocytomas are rapidly growing benign (not cancerous) tumors
which appear as a domed, hairless, pink mass. They arise from
skin cells and move freely with the skin. Some tumors can become
ulcerated. The most common sites are around the head, neck and
abdomen. Effected animals are generally less than 3 years of age. Diagnosis is via histopathology (microscopic examination ) and
treatment is surgical removal
